We offer both 3D printed styles as well as traditional thermoplastic styles.

Traditional thermoplastic styles are made from robust materials that are proven to withstand wear and tear. They offer support and stability in a customizable and adjustable manner.

Orthotic braces provide support, correct alignment, and promote healthy movement patterns during walking and other activities, for a wide range of children who have wearknes’ of the lower extremities. This could include toe-walking, clubfoot, and muscle weakness caused by neuromuscular disorders such as Cerebral palsy, Spina Bifida, Muscular dystrophy and more. Use of orthotic braces in conjunction with other therapies such as PT or OT, can aid in overall growth and development.

An SMO - or Supra Malleolar Orthosis- is an supportive brace that goes just above the ankle. SMOs are often used in younger children who have trouble with stability and walking.

An AFO - or Ankle Foot Orthosis - is a supportive device that controls the foot and ankle, typically extending to just below the knee. AFOs are used for children who need increased support and often include neuromuscular disorders, muscular weakness, or joint instability.

Some children will out grow the need for their orthotic devices as their muscles develop and coordination and balance is achieved. Others children will require bracing long term to support increased mobility and prevent deformity. Lower extremity devices typically last 1-1.5 years in children as they quickly grow in length and girth of the devices.
